【How to Use】 Seat Reservations:
Regional trains have open seating and do not require advance reservations.
Reservations are mandatory for high-speed trains, panoramic trains, and overnight sleeper trains. Reservations can be made up to 3 months in advance.
For detailed information, please use the "Rail Planner" app. In the app, tap "More" in the bottom-right corner and select "Rail Network Guides."
To make advance reservations for specific train services, please visit the counter at a local train station to complete the booking and pay any associated fees.
How to Activate Your Swiss Travel Pass:
For the 'Continuous' Pass: The voucher you receive will contain a PDF document. This PDF is your valid travel ticket. No manual activation is required. Please print this document on A4 paper and carry it with you during your travels.
For the 'Flex' Pass: The voucher you receive will contain a PDF document. This document is NOT your valid travel ticket.
Please go to this link and enter the following details from your PDF document: Reference nr, First Name, Last Name, and Birthdate.
Select the dates you wish to activate for travel. For each travel date you activate, you will receive a corresponding valid ticket via email.
Please print the valid ticket for each activated day on A4 paper and carry it with you.
